yeah, from team perspective, midfield and attack is great but defence (CB) is the problem. Without fonte and pepe there arent CB's out there. In case of emergancy we need to take ricardo santos, he is good but playing for league one....

Idk about midfield either. For me, Portugal has great attacking mids like B. Silva, Felix and Fernandes, but Portugal's DM and CM don't convince me much.

If I were Santos, I would play something like

3-4-1-2

Patricio---Semedo, Pepe, Dias---Cancelo, Danilo, Moutinho/R. Sanchez, Mendes---Bruno/B. Silva---A. Silva, Ronaldo

Funnily i often play 3-4-1-2 when i take portugal in fifa defence Midfield isnt great but concealable with the workrate of sanches and Neves is also there. Biggest problem will be CB next years...

He is a good player but Santos sees Sanches and Palinha in front of him. Sanches has been fantastic for portugal so that is understandable but im not the biggest fan of palhinha. Santos probably takes him because of the physique power(size 1.90m).
