What often goes unnoticed is Ronaldo's longevity. He's as talented as Kaka was, but Kaka was done by 27. Not as talented as Ronaldinho, but Ronaldinho was done by 28. He's 32 in a few months, of course his scoring and performance levels will drop, but that's because he's been doing the business for the last 10 years now.
Kaka was ruined by some bad injuries. Ronaldinho did lose motivation and was more interested in partying. They were still playing for a big team at 30. Their decline is not exactly typical.
Ronaldo hasn't been playing well for a couple of years either. He just knows where to position himself in the box, plays about 60 90 minute games a season for Real Madrid, gets 20 Penaldos a season and is totally obsessed with scoring goals even when it's completely pointless (beating up teams who are 5-0 down already and have already given up and stopped trying so he can score more goals.)
If the real Ronaldo played the same amount of minutes for Real Madrid and took every Penaldo and was the focal point of every attack and was left alone by most defence his goal ratio would be about the same, even though he was half the player he was at Barca.
He didn't score against Legia, so I guess he must have focused on providing for teammates.

The only thing that can go against Cristiano winning it, is if he goes beserk and punches and kicks some players into a multiple games suspension which will give him bad press.
That no-look pass was worldclass.
It won't happen. Over the last two seasons he's been elbowing and stomping on opponents regularly (Sport listed some time ago 6 or 7 similar incidents) and IIRC he didn't get a single yellow card for that.
He again stomped on Legia player yesterday. El Flaco, can you do a gif please? (it happened around 90th minute).
This Ballon Dor will be his last.
He has maybe 2 more seasons left at Madrid too I reckon.
