If he had world class players around him like Modrić and Benzema and a decent midfield (and not fucking Fred, McTominay) he would have easily have 25+ goals this season). Who is currently world class at United?

Maybe but he’s not a striker and no longer a wide player. At the very highest level that gets exposed. He’s an amazing goal scorer but fitting him in to a team is very difficult. Also is it any surprise that he’s back on form after a little break? Unfortunately with his ego he demands to play every game.

Hahaha but when Messi gets all the rest in the world you messi boys say he needs lots of matches to build up fitness and get into rhythm

This is too good LMAO
In one game Ronaldo scored more goals than Messi's entire farmers league campaign

Bro am no Messi fanboy am a United fan. I’ve watched him all season and I love him but he’s human and 37. He needs to accept rotation IMO but whenever he’s not in the team it’s a massive drama. United needs a top new striker this summer so if he’s willing to accept that then we’ll see.

You know that's not going to happen though. It's tough to be at the level CR7 and Messi have been and accept a rotational role. Think they'll rather go to MLS or somewhere else instead of that. Maybe you ought to get Harry Kane if City don't go for him because he'll be desperate to leave Spurs.

I think CR7 decides to leave Man Utd if you guys don't get top four which is looking unlikely right now, although Arsenal could easily choke and lose like three in a row

What the heck is everyone's obsession with MLS anyway?

What, because Zlatan went there, every other pro is supposed to follow in his footstep? Nobody cares about the MLS, its honestly more prestigious to play in in almost every top division in Europe by comparison.

They want to live in America, get paid a lot, and get some of that US spotlight.

Spotlight? Nobody in the US cares about football, so i'm pretty sure the stars can just walk around with few recognizing them.

Depends on the player. I think likes of Beckham, CR, Neymar, Pogba, and Griezmann would be drawn to the US lifestyle and potential brand exposure.

The brand exposure of the MLS was so great that Ibra bolted out back to Serie A at the age of 40 and publicly admitted regretting the MLS move.

It's just not a very good league. Sorry.
