Btw, as much as i like him as a footballer, he isn't much of a leader, what he did today was the same OG and co accuse Messi of doing all the time, head down, checked out, walking about.

Maybe he making a statement cause Maguire(LOL) is captain instead of him?

Finished player.

Unlike Messi he cant even create for his team. He can only score, and with a dysfunctional team like United he doesnt get the service to score.

But still, with that reality that he doesnt get the service, what does he offer then? Because he doesnt create. At all.

He never was a creative player. When he was younger he relied on dribbling. As he aged, he relied on service from midfield. Case in point, he had the fabulous midfield of Madrid to back him up.

But not really finished then per your post. Could still serve other teams. Just his wages at that age might prevent clubs from allowing him to do so.

It's all about narratives.

CR7 is painted as this hardworker, but he averages about 1 KM more than Messi in CL. Not 2-3 more like actual hardworking forwards

He was never creative and to be fair... He was never that good of a dribbler either. His main asset used to be his pace. He'd do a couple of those useless stepovers and simply just run. And run he could. Other than running, he sucks Moby Dick.

is the irony not ever lost on the messi supporters?

imagine trolling CR who is older than messi, playing in a stronger league and in a shittier team

while turning a blind eye to the disaster that messi has been in paris, being younger than CR, in a stronger team and in a hilariously weak league

just accept that both of these players are spent forces in football lads

but for gods sake have some integrity lmao

(note that KL is incapable of integrity or honesty so hes a lost cause but other messi supporters can still retain their dignity)

Pace is an attribute that helps in dribbling.

What you're saying is like saying Messi just accelrates in different directions.

That is dribbling.

And young Ronaldo had great dribbles through tight spaces too. Great close control and quick feet. Ronaldo was noticed by Man Utd and Arsenal mostly because of his dribbling.
He had shite end product at the time

Finished for United yes. But sure, could be good for a team with service. Maybe PSG with Messi serving him perfect balls.

Between the age of 34 and 37, the "finished and useless" Ronaldo has had something like 120 goals.

That's way more than the Goals+Assists Messi will have in that age span player in a shittier league in a much stronger team.

The sheer delusion in some of these comments lmfao!
