Well, it would've been a surprise if they didn't punished Cristiano like they did with Livaja on this particular situation.

CR7's ban isn't really a big deal tbh. The SuperCopa is basically over and RM will have some 'easier' games in Liga.

This only means that Asensio will get much more playing time in the meanwhile.

As for Bale, he hasn't been anywhere great during the pre-season. Isco should start ahead of him tbh.

I don't think so. Last year Real comfortably won all the games they played without Cristiano Ronaldo. And they were a lot.
I honestly don't see why now it should be different: once again, another one would score instead of him and Real would crush the opposition just fine.
