Cristian Tello

Why would he even comment publicly about it. Helps noone and can only decrease value of players.

Yes, I was thinking about that, too. Poorly thought out comment by Lucho. You'd think a guy at his position would know what not to say in public.

What a stupid thing to do, now we will get nothing for this two. We just lost few millions. No comment...:slap:
in the end Adriano, Tello and Montoya will leave for free. Other clubs would get at least 10-12 mil for this 3 players.

All clubs already know for a long time we don't count on Tello and Montoya so I don't think this will have any influence in their value.

Tello will go back to Fiora, probably on another loan. Montoya already has a personal deal with Betis but they don't want to pay anything for him and he also wants to leave for free which will probably happen at the end.

And I think that Adriano will stay if he's not released. But then we'll probably have to pay his wages for the last year of his contract and if that's the case it's better for him to stay here and actually play some game when he's healthy.

Oh Lucho, what have you done?? The whole world assumed Tello and Montoya were going to be vital players for Barca based on the fact Tello's been bouncing around on loan at clubs that don't want to pay for him for the last two years, and the fact Montoya barely played for us and was loaned out to a club where he was so bad they cancelled the loan and he had to find a different club, a club that didn't want to stump up any money for him either.

You've cost us millions, Lucho, millions!!

Not very smart from Lucho. Granted, neither Tello nor Montoya are phenomenal players, but at this crucial moment where we don't have a decent forward replacement, and we have 3 players for the RB spot, two of whom are not RBs and the other is Douglas, Lucho has the perfect opportunity to take advantage of players just coming back from loans, and he doesn't do it. I'd take Tello and Montoya over Munir, Vidal and Douglas any day of the week.

Maybe he is playing mind games with them and hoping they really put in the hard work to prove him wrong

But, like, Tello and Montoya would be a huge boost to the squad.

Tello may not be the Spanish Ronaldo but he's several times the player Munir is, and he can operate on the wing as a sub for one of MSN. And Montoya may not be the heir to Alves he was hyped up to be, but he's still a RB in a team that doesn't even have one.

Like what the hell, Lucho. At least give them a chance. It's more to our benefit than theirs if they prove they can contribute somehow.

He doesn't rate or want them. Hopefully Vidal steps up.

Lucho has been saying that Vidal is "a player of great quality whom he trusts" all year during pressers, didn't bother taking him out of his personal dog house anyway. He's a coach, it's important that players don't step out of line with the club's staff and are disciplined if they do (might be the case here, we still don't know if Vidal run his mouth or got a silly basketball injury) but I don't like seeing personal grudges influencing the line-ups for almost entire season either.

Montoya was never going to get a second chance here in the first place.

Tello? going by a interview not to long ago he didn't seem interested in returning here either as he wouldn't get the play time he wanted. I mean Lucho's words sounded pretty harsh but that's his Personality, if he doesn't think Tello and Montoya aren't good enough to be subs here then theirs no hope for either of them coming back to Barcelona.
