Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

Semi-Neutral

Sir Alupp Heynrguson
Wait, is it confirmed that the ref was banned because of Cristiano's red, or because of the game in general? Because the way Real's defense played and weren't punished for it seemed pretty ban worthy to me...

Diver. :puke: That lighter served him right.

Diver or not, but this is really unacceptable. Players breach the law of football on the field and behave unethically many times but for them to be subject of fan violence and you approving it is equivalent to accepting racial slurs towards Mario because there is something about him you don't like. In retrospect, what Mario suffers vs what Ronaldo suffered is much worse however fans under no circumstances should get offensive or violent. Yes, fans are vocal, supportive and intimidating and that is their "job" however just like players are judged on their behavior so should fans.

First of all I should say I was being sarcastic. I'm against any sort of violence- racial, physical, etc- that so called football fans do. I actually felt really bad after the things happened to KPB last year and he abandoned the game. Same for Mario. It is really bad that in 21st century someone appears to say my race is better, etc.

About the Cristiano case I should say it was a stupid decision made by whoever throw it at him. He or she (because i'm not sexist :p) can make his/her beloved club suffer by banning attendance or something like that and more importantly, can make Atletico less respected in the world of football. I wholeheartedly wish nothing like that happen to no one, in future.

I am all for sarcasm although I think it is rude, I am sarcastic myself but the reason I mentioned this in this topic is because of how heated it always is. You have no idea how tough it is to read some of the comments in this thread, especially for me as a Madridista. Conversations here don't go down very well and I've learned my lesson.

It also bothered me what happens to players from stupid fans. Like Marcelo being told that his son isn't his, ronaldo with the lighter (could've been anything else), Mario crying off the pitch, Mourinho's son being harrassed at training, its just so stupid.

It is hard to sympathise with millionaires but it does it rarely ends there, banter with the players.
