It is too early but they have way too many Achilles-Heels to be considered anywhere near 'on top of Europe' as most CL holders are. Their backline has been crap as per usual but with less shielding. If an underperforming Real Sociedad side can score 4 against them (plus all the other negative indicators they've shown in recent matches) then they are on a bad downhill trend right now.

Maybe its my inner cule's hope and wishes coming out, but I think he is paving the way back to Manchester saying all of this. Van Gaal looks shaky now but the guy is building something over there. He reportedly has cash for the winter market too where he'll get some defensive players. If they make it to CL football this season, I bet Cristina will run over there to play with DiMaria and Falcao.

I think he will ho to United next year too if they get Reus , I imagine there might have been a falling out with the whole Mendes thing and Ronaldo's part to play in it

Nothing wrong with that, the kiddo went a bit too far. Nothing new for Ronaldo that's why it's quiet about it. Messi doesn't do these kind of things and there are talks when he does it.
