It was just before the return game in Sweden I believe.

And to be honest then there is no way to know whether Cristiano actually lead before the votes were re-opened or not(FIFA said so, but can you believe them?), but it was definitely shady IMO. If FIFA were serious and genuine about the re-opening stuff then they should have done so, BUT.... BUT without allowing people to change their votes again.

First you re-open the votes when a particular player is having a dream run and cite the reason for doing so that several players/managers didn't manage to vote in time, but also allow them to change their votes? Why?

This year he deserved it no one is arguing with this but what happen last year was the biggest scandal on the football history to re-open the voting just after he scored that hat-trick against Sweden Ronaldo did not win any trophies and was not the top scorer he did not deserve it full stop .
