Depends what he means by dominate a big game.
Ronaldo absolutely run Bayern Munich ragged last season in the 4-0 game. They could not cope with him at all and he scored twice.

Well by that token do you agree with Marca that Ronaldo is having a better season than Messi as his goals are more decisive?
This idea to write off Ronaldo goals is laughable.
Ronaldo in that game was dragging the Bayern players everywhere regardless of who scored the first two goals he was having a very good game.

He completed one dribble the whole game. I remember the match for Pepe and Ramos for playing their best game in a Real shirt, not for Ronaldo pissing on Bayern. He scored on a counter and a FK. He took his chances, fair enough, but don't rewrite history.

Ronaldo has not been about dribbling for years, his game is all about intelligent movement off the ball and desire to get into dangerous areas.
He was the best attack on the pitch by miles in that game and Bayern couldnt handle him.
Marca today laughably tried to write off Messis goals this seasons as 'meaningless'. Some on here are just as bad towards Ronaldo.

He had a total of 7 shots, 2 on target which resulted in goals, 3 long shots, 1 blocked and 1 off target inside the box. He won 17 % of his aerial duels. He was the best attacker, which isn't saying much, given how deep Real were sitting and Bayern's inefficiency. Bayern couldn't handle him you say? How so? Again, it was a FK and a counter, which Bale pretty much served on a silver platter for Ronaldo. Mention the Dortmund game, fair enough, he did well, but the second Bayern tie was all about Real's defence. Their defending was the closest thing you get to perfect. Ramos, Pepe, Modric and Bale were all better overall.

Yip he had 7 shots on goal and scored twice... which is a decent rate and most of his chances came from his movement off the ball.
No way whatsoever were Bale and Modric better than him at all.

Not on goal, in total. He had 2 on goal which resulted in goals.
Modric and Bale were both a part of the defensive unit, that shut down Bayern. You are overrating his performance in that game IMO.

Ronaldo dominated the Bayern defence the whole game.
Bet they were sick of the site of him by end of it.

Bale and Modric had more defensive duties. Ronaldo was more or less playing up front with Benzema.
