Ronaldo in recent years was always good against small teams and in inzaghi mode in big games. Now he has been in Inzaghi mode in nearly every game bar the malmo's and Espanyol's of the world. And he seems totally unable to score against big teams. To be fair he had two good chances but bad finishes so no glory.
I hop he picks up the slack though, we cant have this clown move out of la liga just yet.

His weakness against good opponents has been obvious in several stages of his career. Then he has a 2-3 year period when the entire Real Madrid side was flying and he scored lots of goals against big opponents (some fortuitous or inconsequential) and his hype went ballistic.

This season, unless the opponent is downright hopeless, he is nowhere to be seen. Can't touch anyone from MSN, let alone D10S himself.

I always loled at that claim.

In a few years, when he'll retire and when people will use a revisionism based on a number of titles won with Real and based on poor seasons later in his career, he will be ranked exactly where he deserves...
