even in the goalscoring department, messi has more goal records, and was more prolific and efficient at his best. cristiano only recently (since 2014) has gotten the "best goalscorer" tag from the media, before that messi was beating him on all statistical measures. though of course , i prefer the eye test to all statistics.

God damn it these ronaldo sympathisers are unbelievable. For a player who is considered best player in the world by some and have three of the trophies which say the same thing his influence on the game is very less. How hard is to understand that argument. It is not a discussion about him being a great player or not. He is not the best player in the world and shouldn't be in the discussion either. As simple as that. He is the 2nd best maybe that too because of his consistency not because of his talent. At their peak I rate xavi and iniesta higher than cristiano.

But nobody considers him the best player in here. literally nobody, not the real supporters, nor the neutrals nor the portuguese members. i could understand some heated arguments if this place was crawling with die hard ronaldo fans, but this thread is one giant circle jerk of ronaldo hatred, where every 50 posts you'll find a "ronaldo sympathiser" comment like "he had a good game" or "that was a nice goal". at its worst, this thread looks like if a real fan has mad a bad caricature of of a barca forum.

But against Bayern?No way!!
And even domination without end-production is useless for me.
Just look at his game Vs City.He dribbled ,made chance after chance from nothing, nutmegged BUT he choked all of his chances!Or maybe Hart was in a GOAT form.

That pass to suarez literally put Bayern Defense in to shreds. Again that's not a domination.He was controlled and marked for about 60 mins in the first leg.
Another domination was 2011 CL final.That was a real domination.Probably the most dominating one that a football player performed in my life.
