This. It was definitely intentional by Ronaldo. His reaction after committing it was like someone who just realized he had screwed up in a moment of frustration, but it was too late to regret. It was stupid and careless from Messi, I agree. But Cr went for the guys face, he wanted to hit him. That's not stupid, it's dirty, mean. It's not normal for a player to do that, for being frustated. we'd see a ufc fight every match, if frustated players decided to vent like that.
