Good morning lads
He's doing really well in Nations League generally - fair play to him.
I don't mean it in a bad way, but it is a little strange how he's doing so well here yet struggled in last two tournaments. You could say it is less pressure, or he has home advantage in some of these ties unlike in Germany and Qatar. But he seems a different player in these NL games. He's had a couple of bad ones but he is scoring goals here too. It isn't even like he's playing weaker opposition as Croatia and Poland are harder than Czechs and Slovenia, for me.
Either way, it is commendable to be still scoring goals at 39. I still think Portugal would be better without him, but the lad clearly loves playing for Portugal and wants to extend his appearance and goal records. The end is coming though for he and Messi and hopefully they will both adjust to not being active players anymore. To go from the highs the top players experience to not playing is likely such a comedown.
I expect they'll do things outside of football and probably play in charity matches and other games to keep their passion going.
I agree, he plays better when he has more rest.He needs more breaks, he cant play every 3 days anymore. Ive noticing it since years, he is most of the time better in his first nt game than in the second game which will be 3 days later. Even 32 years old Cristiano got 10 days rest before big ucl game from Zidane and he paid it back by having the greatest cl run which weve ever seen from a player!🔥
I agree, he plays better when he has more rest.
However, that is partly on him, as he wants to play every game.
That is a lovely goal you posted above.
It's daft. He should be used more sparingly at his age. He doesn't realise it would prolong his career and/or improve performances when he does play.Yeah he doesnt learn it, Zidane was the only coach who could convince him. In WC22 and EURO24 he played also the third group stage game although we already reached R16 😵💫😵💫

If there is one negative thing I can say about Ronaldo at moment, it's that he doesn't understand the phrase quality over quantity.
Take care, talk soon bud.Yep normally he should have realized it himself that he always performs way better after more rest. In EURO24 when he played the third match in group i knew he will be dead for knockout stage games 😬
Anyways, need to go guys, see you later(?) 👋

I know it seems like I am nitpicking, and that was an amazing goal, but incredibly I don't think it was the best bicycle kick scored by a RM player in the CL that season. To me Bale goal was even more impressive, in the final.Considering the main topic are bycycle goals atm i have to post this goal from Cristiano before i go, he tried a lot of times in his career to score such a goal but failed most of the time and then in a big cl night he decided to score probably the most beautiful bycycle goal weve ever witnessed, the way how he runs back and then jump like a jumpingnaldo is absolutely terrifying.
Look at Isco's reaction. He was like 'Is this man really a human😳😳😳"
Pretty sure van basten has at least 2 amazing kicks goalProbably the best I have seen though is either Garnacho or Trevor Sinclair. Incredible overhead kicks. Bale, Rivaldo, Rooney and Ronaldo's too, among others.
Edit - holy fuck, forgot Zlatan. That takes it. Miles out and the ball doesn't even bounce til it crosses the line.
Forgot him too.Pretty sure van basten has at least 2 amazing kicks goal
