In Holland they are talking about changing the name from Amsterdam arena to Johan Cruyff arena. People are saying that this should happen tomorrow when the netherlands playing in the arena stadium.

It is signed by a lot more presidents than them.

You can still have huge respect for a person and pay tribute to their work without getting on with them personally or being able to work alongside them.

Last thing people need to do is use Cruyffs death to point score. People should concentrate on the universal agreement of the number of good things EVERYONE agrees he did and the legendary figure he was.

Good lord that tribute video made by Barca is emotional. The last few second of it when it shows Johan through the decades and you can hear the Nou Camp chanting Johan just sends goosebumps through my entire body.

I remember watching him in the '74 WC, he played in a great team but he was a class apart.It's a shame he never went to Argentina in '78 because with him Netherlands would probably of won it.

So sad, I had no idea how bad the situation was for him.

Before Johan, Barca had won 42 trophies in 71 years. Since, 42 trophies in 27 years. Indeed, there are a number of contributing factors to the success of Barca, and they are all valid, but if there ever was a man who can be symbolic of that success, it has to be Cruyff. I never had the privilege of being able to witness Johan play at Barca or how he grew the club as a manager, but as others have pointed out, there are still prints of him all over this club to this day. That alone speaks volume of the impact he has had and still has on this club. He will be missed by not only cules, but football fans all over the world, a true legend in every sense of the word.
