Blind has been excellent at LB for me as well, hopefully he can be our long term replacement for Carrick, but I'd rather he not partner Carrick, Herrera and Fellaini offer more offensively and have not been that bad defensively recently.

Blind would be very good for Barcelona I think. His positioning is usually very good, as is his passing. It's only really when he gets into a physical battle that he can fall short.

That is funny, because Mourinho likes players that can be used on multiple position ( 3+ ), the guy can play DM when Mourinho parks the bus with 3 of them in front of 6 central defenders, his main position should be left-back while I never really got the central defender position for him as many people point out, he's physically weak but we have a strong history of moving full back to the centre and DM's to cover for lack of CB options.

Wouldn't mind him as a utility player at all. Fits Barça and is extremely versatile. 18M is cheap.
