This could be one of the best things to happen to the club if the club decide to just go in full fuck you mode and sue the fuck out of La Liga. Expose all the blatant and obvious corruption. Leave the league. The league WILL DIE, I promise you. Has been well well overdue. Refuse the RFEF when they call up Barca players for Spain. Full out war mode is what we want.

But I don't expect anything. We have been paper tigers for eternity against the bullshit. We didn't even say anything when they spent 8 minutes manipulating VAR images to turn an onside goal into an offside one Vs Sociedad.

La Liga probably just going through and changing rules each time we figure out away to take advantage of them 😂
I blame Laporta for signing Olmo without a clear plan on his registration, but its also true that these LaLiga rules are very arbitrary and oftentimes don't make any sense.

Barcelona is a club in an economic downturn but clearly has the long term assets and financial power to sustain a few signings. The whole point of the rules is to safeguard clubs but they just seem anti-competitive in many areas.

It also limits the league from ever receiving proper investment, because big money chairmen have no interest in buying clubs in a league where you cannot spend anything without making the same amount of profit.

LaLiga will be the last league to receive big cash injections, the Prem is already nearly fully bought up and they will go to France and Italy next.

Unfortunately the other clubs in the league voted for all this so if we want to try and fight them it will be difficult on our own.

The main choice would be either changing the ownership structure so we can spend more or leaving to a different league, though I doubt we would ever want to do the 2nd.

This could precipitate a sale of part of the club.

Small teams in la Liga agreed to these rules because they would rather hold Madrid and Barca back, than try to grow.

Backwards mentality.

He's registered for 4 months, but his contract is still counted against our books and he will miss 0 pay checks.

But these are the rules we agreed to, club should have been fighting against them before this and not waiting last minute.

But I'm certain they summited the paperwork in time, tebas was just being a dick about proof of payment.

And that's a good thing, not every league has to be Americans buying everything up.

You can look at the investment at clubs like Manure. Just inflating prices into the sky for average players plus the cringe hype.
It's cancer.

Barca is not competitive because of bad signings and insane wages.

I'm not sure but I think even Laporta voted for Tebas, so why cry now? It's what we wanted.

The same as he says Bartomeu ruined the club but invites him to club's events and hugs him there and takes pictures.

But yeah, he's the great flawless president or something...

Perez has the biggest institutions in Spain in his pocket, it's an open secret. How do you think they were able to sell a fuckin parking lot back to the city for an outrages amount? His regular guests in the VIP box are often judges, prosecutors, chief reporters of various Madrid outlets. There are even reports that he personally has to give green light when a new chief reporter for sports takes the job for a Madrid based newspaper. He controls the construction industry as well. Don't forget that Madrid TV is free to receive in Spain television.

Spain is a corrupt country in general. Look what kind of a person Rubiales was who lead the spanish football federation. Look who Tebas is, his CV in the Franco youth. Even their old King stole so much money that he now hides in Qatar, while his son doesn't look better.
Spain is on rank 35 of the corruption ranking, below countries like Botswana, Emirates and Chile.

❗️The creator of the Calendar app for iOS (Laporta has iPhone) is a Real Madrid fan. Don Juan was using exactly that app to decide when to register Olmo.
