Well when you play against cunts like Alonso, Arbeloa and CR (who got Pique booked and dived multiple times) you have to resort to some dirty play, unless you're happy with losing.

My bad, I'll just close my eyes and ignore the pathetic shit our players do like a real supporter should. Dani had a fantastic game, still doesn't change what he did was pathetic.

Posting one liners about players misbehaving, on the other hand, is indeed exactly what real fans do. Our bad.

Superb defensive display from Alves today. I was so relieved to see it. :) His offensive play and crosses were also good, if not at their best. It's hard to blame him for the chance that was saved; he hit a strong ball on target at least.

After a long time a great defensive display from him. He was diving all night trying to block shots which i haven't seen him do in a long time. Clueless in crossing though. Hope he keeps it up

Great performance by Dani. He was flawless in defence and was pretty good going forward also. I love how he goes out of his way to get under his opponents skin and turn stadiums against him. It seems to spur him on and make him play better.

By the way did anybody else hear monkey chants directed at him? I know its nothing new and is almost the norm in Spanish football but it seemed quite loud tonight.

I think its so regular in Spanish football now that they just ignore it. I also think they don't want to accuse fans of doing it either in case they'e wrong. It's incredible how in England any tiny hint of racism is blown up in the media while at the same time Spanish matches are being shown on the same station with blatant racism and no mention of it.

It's despicable, and I wouldn't doubt it. Madridistas are known for being some of the most aggressive, extremist, bigoted fans around of course, but it still saddens me.

I'm glad I haven't heard of Cules behaving like this in recent memory.

To be honest I think its in pretty much every stadium in Spain. Some stadiums have less fans doing it then others and I think a lot of the time the microphones are turned down so they are less audible. Tonight it seemed like a lot were participating in the chants though.

Tw Alves: "Great job by my team, a shame for the draw, and an even bigger shame the racists out there, but I'm happy as I am, thank you."

note: there were monkey chants at real madrid's santiago bernabeu stadium each time dani alves touched the ball

This is really sad.

Stupid, and disgraceful. I hope this doesn't continue and the club takes whatever measures necessary to avoid it from happening again.

Respect for staying on the pitch like a pro and ignoring the idiots.

that racism is so accepted in some parts is both sad and pathetic at the same time.

racism is the biggest waste of energy.

as for his performance, it was pretty darn good. his form is back.
