Read it's not a normal ACL injury, guy has a total damage in his knee. Wont be easy for Real to replace him, in big games he had shown most of the time good performances.

Yeah, he tore everything in his knee. ACL, outer ligament, tendon in the back of the knee. Horrible injury, he'll probably need a year to recover where he'll be close to 34. Could be the end of his starting spot in Madrid. They surely won't wait one year and play with Vasquez.

That's brutal and painful. On video it looks as he tore more than just the ACL. All this from kicking a guy in the balls.

Wish him all the best in recovery.

You know if they form a union, they will do the exact opposite, right?

Less games = less money.
Less teams = less players getting paid at top level.

And because only small percentage of those players play that much. Cutting games, especially in the league, will mean less money for the lower players whom actually need that money more. OTOH, top players won't care that much.

Players and agents greed are one of the main fuel for those extra games.

PS: Liga actually has a player union.
Point isn't that union isn't needed, it is
It's rather that players in top4 have different workload to those in other teams that never play 60-70 games and would probably in fact welcome playing in Nations League if can't get in team through other means than normal starters getting hurt/tired

This is like Kurt Zouma injury. Same type of injury I think.
