He may be trying to prove a point for his friend Suarez and he may be best of friends with Johnson but it is ill advised after the whole scandal this season.

If Glen Johnson is happy for his spanish speaking friends to refer to him in this manner that is his business. However it comes across as lacking diginity and self respect to be referred to by his race all the time by his 'friends'.

I personally see it as degrading to refer to my friends by ther race when their name alone will do just fine. Lack of respect and dignity.

It's fine for Johnson if he is happy to be referred to in that manner by his spanish speaking teammates. but it is not the best move by a Liverpool player on twitter to do this after what has happened.

It is fine in an endearing context between friends if the referred to party is fine with it. In a heated situation on the pitch it can't be anything other than racist taunting.
