He will be stuck in the same spot Malcom is in.

Behind Dembele and a disappointing Coutinho.

Neres >Malcom

But ya, he will most likely move to a club like Arsenal, Dortmund, Tottenham, Roma first.
If he can keep developing himself over the next few years. He will make the move to a top-tier club within 2 years.

Really underrated gem.

Shame he missed the 1 v 1 Arthur put on a plate for him. I didn't watch the game but a goal would have gone really well with his assist to cap off a fantastic debut.

And I don't think Neres is anything like Malcom, he can play on both wings and as a 10, for starters.

Seems like a downgrade lol

Perhaps. With the decline the Bundesliga has visibly had in the last 4 seasons, Bayern could sign Neres and he would easily tear it up. Barca and Real don't need him, then there's Juventus he could probably carve a place at but unlikely. Then you go a few levels down to Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea if Hazard leaves.

AC Milan ain't even on Ajax level nowadays.
If i was Neres, i would wait till the summer. There will be enough interested clubs.

La Liga, Bundesliga and Premier League are much more appealing. Serie A ain't what it used to be.

To be fair Milan has done great with recent signings of Paqueta and Piatek. They stilll need to get more quality players and I'm not sure if Gattuso is the right coach for them longterm but if they'll get Neres he could be the next good young player to help them return where they want to be.

I watched a handful of their matches this season. While they're getting good results, most of the time they play likes a classic Premier League middle table team - physical, relies a lot on individual sparks instead of team effort and it is dull, boring... A technical player likes Neres may not suit that style of play

He is sensitive to a big paycheck as he wanted to go to China already. He is glad he didnt but nonetheless. If he goes to a european club he will pbb let money prevail.

Would love to see him at a rejuvinating Bayern.

This is the concern I would have with his pursuit because otherwise he would tick a lot of the boxes for Barcelona, particularly the versatility to be able to play on either wing. But this profile of a professional mercenary is not ideal for this club
