I think that Henry in 2008/09 >= Villa in 2010/11. Both of them were sadly more or less irrelevant in the rest of the seasons.
Though if Villa did not get injured in 2011/12, it is an interesting what if, maybe we would have won La Liga and/or CL. He would be certainly be an upgrade compared to Tello, though he did not play stellar football until his injury.

It's a fair argument.
Either way Henry is the best player overall and in my opinion it's not close.
Why is he not close to Villa ?

You must be joking dude, did you miss prime Henry?? Guy was one of the best players ever in his peak, he could do everything with the ball while being fast as light.
I would also say Henry for Barca was a bit better than Villa for Barca. Both don't come close to Eto'o from Barca. So for Barca from all 3 Eto'o. Overall player Henry.

That would be a real battle, i would still pick prime Henry over prime Suarez.
Another great battle would be Manu Ronaldo vs Arsenal Henry vs Liverpool Suarez - battle of the Pl gods
What matters is you say it isn't close. You underestimate Villa. I feel like it was easier to be Thierry Henry with Arsenal than being Villa for Valencia. Eto'o is the best one.

Dude i saw prime Villa and prime Henry and i dont underestimate Villa, one of the best strikers in this generation but Henry was on another level, his speed, skills, ability to create chances and scoring goals - just wow 💯

Villa wasn't even that good for Barca. Both Henry and Villa gave truly 1 great season (08/09 for Henry and 10/11 for Villa). Henry was awful in 09/10 and Villa had that injury that basically ended his Barca career. In 12/13 he was terrible.
