Said in the chat: Problem is inhereted in position he plays. RCM is defensive spot and is too wide. Whereas Suarez is attacking player that thrives on the left as he's right footed. Can't cut in from that far wide position and he is often left with one lane open that is already our weakest one with Roberto.

Agree that he's better when he plays in Iniesta's position but he can't be there when Iniesta is playing. I can understand why Lucho started with them yesterday though as they didn't play much together (they were only in starting lineup together against Gladbach) before that and he wanted to see how they'll work.

When Rafinha came on instead of Denis all i could think was "Rafinha and Denis plays almost exactly the same, it wont change anything"
Same "just not Barca quality for the future" feeling.

Good second half, mediocre first. Imo he is very good when ahead, even if it's just by one goal, but he struggles to create something against parked busses and sort of dissapears if the rest of the midfield doesn't play well enough. If he plays in bigger matches it should only be with Iniesta. He's defensively good enough to be paired with him, and Iniesta makes up for Denis' weaknesses.

Any chance we can get Xavi next year in the coaching staff? His primary objective would be to help train our young midfielders.

I don't know if he even started his coaching school in Qatar.
If his ultimate goal is to coach Barcelona, he better get his behind over here and be useful to the club. Who knows he could be coaching some of them in the future.

He is a bit greedy tbh. I mean he played pro football for 18 years and made more than enough cash.
Those 2 years would be better spent in Italy baking the trade as most top coaches (as players or managers) did and then a year in B team.
