Denis has many flaws to his game i think it's for best he be sold. He can't play as a midfielder unless he plays a wide one. And when they play him there he simply lack what it takes.. He sometimes try to bust an acceleration and cut Inside but when he does that he usually can't shoot (when he tries one can see why he refrains from shooting ) and he is not gifted with with the through passes; that leaves him what exactly ? A pseudo-filler midfielder who doesn't have enough football IQ, with little defensive work but who can carry the ball a little bit with no orientation when it comes to being productive.

Clearly you didn't watch the match... Villarreal were reduced to 10 men after Denis' substitution. And yes, he is too attack minded to be a midfielder... I've never argued otherwise.

Maybe a good player on asphalt in a cage with small "pitch", but not on a football pitch. Slows down the game everytime he receives the ball. If you sub him and bring Dembélé the defender will shit his pants after having a chilled field day vs Denis.
