We are negotiating with Denis, which is harder part of negotiations in this case, because he has some better offers on the table and we have to convince him to take ours. This is not as easy as some people think - like we have MSN and Iniesta and everyone wants to play with them. This is not always true. Denis is a young player who has proven himself a lot during last season and wants to have guarantees about his playing time/role in the team and he also wants to get as much money as possible which is also understandable from his part. When we have a deal with him we'll just have to wait until 1st July and pay his clause, there won't be any negotiations needed with Villarreal.
I think both Denis/his agent and Barça are just taking some time becaue they know they can afford that as they can't officialy sign anything before 1st July. So they'll make their offers/contra-offers for the next week or two and at the end they'll meet around the middle of their demands/supply. It's just the way things work during negotiations in business world. You can never jump on the first offer and take it. If we can somehow negotiate his salary down for 0.5M (based on the rumours that they are currently 1M apart) or something like that it's worth to wait for a few more weeks in this situation.
I get that some people are feeling unsecure about what we are doing and want to see some official news but they won't come before July. We'll probably get rid of Adriano before that but all incoming transfers will have to wait for official confirmation. But that doesn't mean our board are not doing anything. In the meantime, be prepare to read more and more (most of them untrue or even stupid) rumours every day about everything. Although a market will most likely "die" during Euro for all players participating there that won't stop media. It's their job. If some of you can't handle that and are feeling like you have to jump on every rumour I'd friendly advice you to just step away for a few weeks.
