Exactly. Either people should look the other way on this one or acknowledge a few years of antics.
I'm not looking the other way at all. Every team has 1-2 guys who dive/exaggerate injuries and tackles. I can't stand Sergio, I've never liked him b/c of it and only support him b/c he's pretty good at what he does and plays for my team. Seriously tho, I can't stand him. Alves doesn't do it much anymore and Alexis does it at times, but he actually gets hit and goes down easy...very differen't than Drogba.
And Zanela, Drogba was completely feigning getting hit, exaggerating getting it and just plain diving. He also sat on the floor for easily a minute for no reason each time, it's amazing we only had 2 minutes of extra time (should of been more like 8 just from him). He was caught offsides several times. Other than holding the ball up a couple of times, what exactly did he do besides score their ONE SHOT on net? Nothing other than be a total pussy. The fact you call him man of the match disgusts me, that guy is a disgrace.

You'd be surprised he put in more tackles than all his defenders (bar cole). He put in a solid defensive shift (interceptions, clearances) apart from his winning goal. And everytime the ball came to him, our defense was all over the place. His hold up play (even if a few times) created chances for his team. I can understand the disgust of our fans towards him. But he really was the difference for chelsea in the game.
Whilst Cole and Cahill both had good games, their defence did not effectively shut us out as seen by the goal-scoring chances we had. Cech would be a worthy candidate. But Drogba, apart from the above, made that one shot count. Can't hate on that. You could say it was an easy chance, but i've seen strikers miss them.

After nearly 30 years of awatching football from all over the world, Drogba's performance was one of the most embarrassing I have ever witnessed. Strange how the Chelski fans decide not to comment on this....

Busquets also lets himself (and the club) down too often for my liking, but even he has never dived around to that extent. For fuck's sake, Drogba was by far the biggest man on the pitch!
