Diego Costa

How can he keep scoring with as shit of a pass and shot as his, and no pace? Weird shit.
Because he has a good shot, and very decent pace. His dribbling is also underrated but by no means fantastic either. It's enough for him to get by.

Let's see if he can score on City next week.

I guess some bought into the whole "Chelsea is a striker's graveyard" thing. Others were probably hoping that Costa was a one season wonder. My worry more than anything was injuries for Costa, but I was pretty sure he'd succeed providing he stayed fit.

Funny thing is mourinho almost created chaos on the spanish nt during his tenure at rm, and now the cesc-costa partnership might do wonders for spain, if vdb picks up on that.
It was somewhat clear they both would click. One really complements the other.

Another LL alumnus doing the biz in the PL.

I do miss his derby antics.

Yet every time a top quality Liga talent enters the prem they all worry about if they'll adapt and be able to handle the "physicality".

Every week in the prem is tough compared to other leagues which have about five hard games a year.

"They" are clueless and irrelevant...

Nah. Won't happen. A Cesc-led team ain't winning CL or international titles.

We'll see, Mourinho's one guy who can finally set Cesc straight. Plus, it always helps that he'll not be playing in a different position every week, he's going to be central pretty much all the time.

Costa was never going to struggle with the physicality of the Prem. He's too beastly.

You got it the other way around. The real question would be whether the PL will be able to handle Thug Costa's physicality especially under Mou Mou

This is such a fallacy. Every diminutive player whose chief qualities are technical rather physical succeeds in the Prem.
