Atletico should go all-in for Amorim in the summer and tell Simeone it's probably time.

Amorim is City bound from the looks of it.

Unless Pep stays, or he successfully recruit Alonso to City. Both are unlikely atm.

Atletico will have a hard time replacing Simeone tbh, even up to last season he was making great results for the shit squads they have.

This year they have an improved squad, but they could have done far better with the money they have spent.

I will never get why they have bought Sorloth, there is big enough sample size he is a bad player, and they have overpaid for Alvarez.

They will need to nail the next hire if Simeone leaves, because getting back to mediocrity has never been easier in Spain

I agree. I'm not sure Unai Emery would leave, but Atletico did make Simeone the best paid manager in the world.

Emery is the coach they need, but he's in a good situation at Villa.

Any coach they get would have to be someone that plays with wing backs, because that's how he's built their squad, pretty much no wingers.

Would require a good bit of investment to change the team around.

Everyone and their dog barking at Simeone while he is on the greatest winning run in the club's history. 15 wins in a row, third longest winning streak in spanish football history after Real Madrid with Anchelotti at 22 in 2014 and FC Barcelona with Frank Rijkaard at 18 in 2005.

Top of the table at the halfway mark on the way to another extraordinary season, but the PHD level expertise professorat displayed here, surely turning the oracle of dephi green with envy, still want Simeone out of Atletico Just imagine if you guys were at the helm of the club.
