Yeah, but he relies on their "gentleman"-agreement and their "moral right of first refusal".
That doesn't sound set in stone to me: If we make a better offer, and player wants to go here, we would get him, don't you think?
Maybe he wants to be vocal about it to scare other possible clubs away? Of course it sounds like we have to move quickly.
I couldn't find it in here, but some media reports the buyback would be 25M €.
He is partly (50 % owned by Juve right now). Those Italian ownership-deals

Juve has first option on him, the only way this transfer can prevent from happening is, if Berardi himself doesn't want to go to Juve

It depends which club it is, for one of the biggest clubs like Barcelona, they'll try to milk them as much as possible
