Liking what I see. :thumbsup2: Appears to read the play well and attacks the high ball. Although I recognize anyone can be made to look good in a highlights video.
He does look to play the long-pass too often for my liking (may be team instructions?), but that can be resolved.

If we buy him now, we can use this season to indoctrinate him into the Barca style and if he looks like he needs developing, we can send him on loan to a Portuguese club to adapt to European football.

Isnt this an argument for improving our very bad scouting, and not an argument for stopping to buy young players? We have bought flops of all ages, both young and old, including Hleb, Ibra and others. ...We need to do better.
So true. It's just bad scouting, plain and simple.

Watched Doria today, he seems pretty slow... I honestly havent watched him otherwise but I was hoping to get someone with pace.

Chelsea and Tottenham are chasing this player. I would like to know more about this promising player. We should consider locking him for future.

Baldini, who discovered Marquinhos, sees him as a player with more potential. He's also being comapred to Thiago Silva. Says a decent amount about his talents. He's also the Brazil U20 captain. Release clause is around 11m pounds.

Well,we are looking for future but in different direction ,remember we are monitoring the situation of Tiago Casasola from Boca Juniors and who knows may be he end better than Doria

I'm not 100% sure about Casasola. The guy has been linked with us by media, and has constantly said it would be a dream to play for us, and seems to have no objection to the move. So why hasn't it happened yet? I'm guessing that the club themselves aren't interested in him, and that his link was all media-born. I've heard he's a great player but I'm starting to doubt that the club will buy him.

After henrique's and keirrison's failed experiments, I don't think Barça will gamble with unknown brazilians for a while.

Boca wants him to stay this year ,which is understandable as there is huge difference in the price if he has shown his skill set as a first team player than being a youth team one ,I suppose we will keep eye on his developing

True, much better to gamble with players with La liga experience like Caceres for 17m euros, or highly experienced players like Ibra for 70m!

Barca's transfer policy, gotta love it!
