Not that surprising. People here act like he comes from the 3rd division in China. Guy played for Sao Paolo, which is one of the best teams in Brazil, and was bought by Barcelona. He has to have some quality. Not too much, but is still a player that is good enough to play in La Liga and have good games.

perhaps without the pressure of playing for Barcelona helps him out a little. I remember his debut with us vs Malaga and the dude looked afraid every time he got even near the ball.

might end up being a solid player for teams like Gijon etc.

Yea, some people think that if someone fails at Barcelona, then he must be shit. They don't think that some other elements are involved. Alexis didn't deliver, he is shit. Paco doesn't deliver, he is shit. Arda doesn't play like at Atletico, he is shit.

Everybody who doesn't do as expected right away is shit.
