Well he took virtually a whole season off a year or two ago when Jose got sacked .

He just doesn't have the drive to reach the very top. still one of the best players in the PL with KdB, maybe a change of scenery will do him good, Chelsea was an odd club to join for him. imo he'd of been better under Ferguson at United

He has the talent and skill set but what separates him from the likes of Messi,CR7,Prime Robben etc is that Winners mentality.
The ability to help lead a team when it's down in the most important moments. Willian may not have Hazard's talent but you can see how much the guy works hard for the team like he did vs us in Both legs, he was there trying to carry the team.

It very well could. The team culture affects the players just as vice versa. At Chelsea he has shown 'greatness' at the EPL level but their ambitions have never really been higher than that since he came.
Things could be very different when he's at RM under a coach he idolizes with teammates that are seasoned winners. Hazard has always had the talent and the people doubting him now should be careful doing so. He is capable of great things, just a matter of his own drive.

Ofcourse it does. Playing for a better side will give most players more drive. If you perform for a weaker side and see the chances you create get wasted or make runs while rarely to receive the ball you are less likely to give it your all because you know there is a high chance you will just be wasting your energy.

It likely had to do with our system as well. Pedro and Morata(like the first game) were nowhere to be found either.
