Bale easily paid off, no matter his antics and lack of performances in the last 2 years.
James and Hazard? Thats a different story.

I really wonder whats going on with him, that ankle injury really fucked him over.
Just RM-things, almost everyone who leaves never have chronic injuries again, and few had lengthy injury records before joining.

Just as bad in what exactly?
Dembele IS an injured flop. One doesn't negate the other and doesn't matter who says it.
Bale and James are big contractual gambles that didn't pay off. Lighting up the PL isn't difficult for a month or two. We'll see how long he keeps it up.
Bale paid off regardless.

The renewal didn't. In fact was the biggest blow to our squad building by some distance. If the choice on the table was to sell Bale and give Cristiano the Messi deal, that would have been better on sports grounds. Even if ultimately we'd end up in Messidependencia spot Barca have been since Neymar left.
