And I think you are being utterly ridiculous here. Had he grabbed the 'kid' (who isn't even a kid) and pulled him off the ball this wouldn't be an issue. Just because his only way was to squeeze the ball out from under neath using his foot doesn't mean this whole situation was just an utter farce by the kid. Everyone apologized to everyone, move on.

I love how there are now articles coming out judging if he's been worth the money. Yeah, let's judge a guy who hasn't even finished his first season yet, not only that it's not like he's been shit or anything, he's been pretty good more often than not. If he improves anything like Mata did in his 2nd season then he's going to be fantastic.

I just ignore it. He's a considerably better player than Bale, who appears to be flavour of the month at the moment.

Bale never did it for me, and it's nothing to do with the fact he plays for Tottenham. It's like with Xavi, there's no denying his supreme talent but I never really liked him much either. Bale is good, on form he is a monster but I think Hazard has more talent and given a few years will probably be better. Bale will end up at a better club though.

Comparing Bale to the midfielder that's been walking over midfields non stop since 08...
Xavi has played against all the top teams in europe (and the world) this past half decade and brought all of them to their knees.
Bale is a decent player who despite everything has still provided less goals and assists than Walcott this season.

Ronaldinho and Messi have. Xavi's only gained recognition as a truely outstanding world class midfielder since Guardiola took over in 2009. He's now got this mythical aura about him in which he can do no wrong.
Fantastic player, retains possession better than anyone in football, but that's no necessarily a good thing against half decent defences. He was massively exposed mid-week. For such a great passer of the ball, didn't see much of it did we?

I'm not comparing the players, I'm comparing how I feel about 2 talented players that everyone else jizz over. Obviously the jizzing for Xavi is of a different scale but to me how I feel is the same, neither of them do it for me like they do for a lot of other people but I cannot deny their talent. I've always been an Iniesta person.
