The novelists employed by the English media really are something else.
Yeah, it really is unbelievable at least to me. But I follow the bundesliga. What seems odd to me:
1. that he'd put in writing the wish to play for city
2. if he did, why don't they publish a facsimile of said letter? And which language was it in? And who translated it? Am willing to bet that Dzeko's english is...minimal at the very best.
3. Dieter Hoeness (brother to Bayern exec Uli and one tough sob) has set the sale price at 40 million euros and this is not a guy who's going to back down, so the 'wolfsburg isn't doing well, city will be able to get him cheap' argument is, frankly, crap. Especially since wolfsburg definitely do not need the money.
Look, it's Man City...Everyone who's looking for the 'next' payday tries to make a Man City plea
Yep, they're all quoting the article you linked. The only thing that indicates to me is that gossip site (ie, goal.com) read the unreliable and mostly fictitious english tabloids.
Nah, I just think that 99% of the english media - as it relates to football - is crap (including this story). I don't really care where Dzeko goes.
I'm not a particular fan of City but I'm not a particular fan of any of the english clubs. just don't like the style of play.
So, since he's not seriously going to stay at City for more than a year or 2, where will he end up after to resume his career?
