In 2010' Inter knocked us out, in 2009' we won 1:1 on away Goals against Chelsea with Iniesta's Goal in the 93rd minute.
And Chelsea also had a 4-5 penalty kick claims, right?
In 2012' we were knocked out again by Chelsea's bus.

So, we played better back then, and had our top players (Xavi, Messi, Iniesta) in their prime and we also had huge problems with buses.
Today, our players are not in their prime anymore and our opponents have evolved their defense (buses and counterattacks) against us even more.
But we don't "want" to change/evolve anything.. If you get my point?

I just mean that buses and counter attacks (thank you, Italy) have always existed. The obvious way to change is to be more conservative and lend some possession back to opponents, which we did earlier in the season.

Aesthetically, however, it fails to charm the eye.

Also, users on other topics are constantly claiming how we have trashed Real Madrid back then with our Tiki-Taka. True, but if anyone look at this video, it is clear that Real (and other top teams) played differently against us back then.

We had so much space, they haven't parked a bus. It was "easy" to play Tiki-Taka and triangles back then.

This is why some users are saying that today is not 2008 or 2009 anymore. Teams don't play against us the way they played back then.
Our opponents really play much differently today against us. This is why we need evolving in our system, too..

Actually, they played us in 2009 like they played us on Bernabeu this year. Except we have declined.
