b) Start phasing out players. NOPE
c) Give young and hungry players a chance in an important match. NOPE
d) Realise that playing defensive with 8 outfield players playing defense away from home doesn't work. NOPE
e) Reverting back to Lucho's failed MSN system with an older shit Suarez and an ultra defensive midfield. YES

Replaced mascherano with Umtiti, Shipped out deadwood like Mina, Turan, Gomes, Dealofeu promptly.

Benched Coutinho for Dembele when Coutinho wasn't playing well, benched Dembele for Rafinha when Dembele's form slipped. Got the best out of Messi. Trusted Arthur to play against Tottenham in a key UCL game.

Valverde's problem is he doesn't give many chances he did try benching Rakitic and Busquets and Coutinho in midfield but we dropped points and they didn't play well so he dropped them promptly and it was never tried again.

He obviously doesn't trust anyone else to cover for Messi on the right wing besides Rakitic

With Valverde we've always had a 3 goal lead at least. Past years we've looked toothless at home too.
