No it wouldnt be and the Roma game is at home 4 days after.

Dont need to rotate much in that Sevilla game.

Doesn't matter, in football you never know and we should rotate only when it's mathematically impossible for Atletico to win the league.

I remember in 2010/11 we had a 8 points advantage over Real and Pep never rested players, or in 2012/13 when we had 15 points over Real.

:lol: In 2012-13 we lost 7-0 in CL, not the best example to use.

In 2010-11 the squad was at its physical peak. We didn't have so many 30+ years old players.

We lost 7-0 for other reasons, not because we were tired.

Anyway my point is that coaches don't rest players when other teams are still in the race. For example Lewandowski is never rested and Bundesliga is a one team league.

There is no race at +11 and h2h leverage. We can draw more than half the games left and we still win. And that if Atletico win everything which they won't. It's done. We can rotate without problems now.

NT games are problematic when players has to travel a lot and suffer from jet lag. Our players are gonna stay in Europe and probably play and run way less than they would here in the club.

I mean who do you want us to rest? Pique? well I will second that if Vermaelen is healthy. Alba? may be if he gets ton of minutes in Spain, Busquets? depending on health, if he come back it will be good game to regain game time.
Iniesta? only one I really agree, Suarez? already rested today, Messi? no way after Cr7 scoring fest today. Rakitic? well may be him too depending on minutes.

If we want to be conservative, we should rest Messi vs Sevilla. A rested Messi in the CL should be a sight to behold.
