This leaderlessness is something I mentioned over and over with Barca in other threads, but it's understated and overshadowed by people whining and scapegoating. Valverde wasn't a good fit, but I don't think there was a better one at the time. It was always going to come to that ever since Xavi left. He seems to have been the piece that held the dressing room together and even Enrique managed to let himself get thrown under the bus by the locker room politicians.
It's the board who need to change first and foremost, director of football, president... Everything else is a distraction and circling around the actual problem.
