I dislike how he says that. It's like recruiting coutinho, and dembele will change everything, but tonight I think his tactic was shit, and he seems to not see it, or doesn't wanna.

We have a good team? is this plain delusional or what?
What he is saying doesn't make sense.

"Everything's fine. We have a good team, but the team is so good we need new signings to change things that we don't need since we have a good team".

and don't forget his "we need to win". Thank you for your analysis captain obvious!

Would be shocked if we win the league with the situation the team and club is in right now.

That's low we've fallen. Not EV's fault, although he has to learn from this. This tactic made Messi utterly useless. He need to boot Rakitic, Gomes and start Semedo.

Perhaps it's for the better. Perhaps that's exactly what we need. To fall enough for a new competent board to come in to secure this club's future.

If we don't utilize what remains of the transfer window, I would honestly take the L this season and try to bring up our talents in the B team. Use them to implement Valverde's vision rather than limit himself to the inadequate first team squad.

I don't.

His personality is not big enough for Barca. I still want him to do well but I can't see it happening. It's not all his fault but I see a disconnect between him and the players.

How many people here support Valverde and think he's the right manager for us?

Would be interesting to see a poll.

He have my full support, i liked gameplay he implanted in athletic bilbao, with their basque only politics he was doing great, if it takes more of a 70% season to see barca playing the same as his bilbao, let it be

I was a pessimist from the start, this could be mental breakdown even protest against the board, we will be better but sometimes there is a reason why certain manager never coached big clubs. Like with signings, we needed world class we got Arda, same with the coach.

Lucho was better, tell me what you want, but Lucho knew really well how to let messi shine.
The gap now between midfield and attack seems to be bigger than ever.

Ah, no accident anymore? Jesus! A lot work to do but maybe he can start with MOTIVATION the team so that they actually give a fuck again!

It's really baffling how some of you choose to attack him, Valvarde is trying his best and is being the opposite of what Lucho is; Stubborn, he saw right from the get go that a 4-4-3 does not work and worked on to change it in the second game to fix Messi's positional play to not effect the team.

Had he stayed with the 4-4-3 we would of still lost and he would of still got the blame, even when he tried a completely new approach to our game in the 3-5-2 he's still getting the blame in a game we were already losing.

Yes, he has his own little flaws, like not starting Semedo and playing Vidal over him, perfering to start Andre Gomes over Alena or any of our favorites. However, didn't Lucho come up with bizzare lineups at the start of his first season and benched Rakitic for an old Xavi that had no legs?

It's clear he's trying to work with what he has avaliable, everyone should lay off the blame, he's clearly doing his best and discovering who's suitable for his system and who is not that good, just like Lucho's first season, Valvarde will take a while to understand which players works in the best position.

Let him cook, he'll eventually stumble back into his own 4-2-3-1 which he understands the best.
