Ernesto Valverde - V1

Real fired Capello his conservativeness, the ugly play, and Emerson which are similar to Valverde's Barca, even though he won them their first major trophy in 4 years.

I see why Capello like Valverde and I see Real would have fired EV after Roma's defeat.

But do you go google Valverde and read what other coaches, journalists say about him? I admire your dedication to Valverde

Well said. Difference is, Capello, while being kinda boring with his style, knew how to defend and was a world class manager.

Valverde is neither. He's a limited coach with 0 charisma, no vision and (as proclaimed Cruyfissta) doesn't give a fuck about Barca long term.
Spineless is a another thing as it's being leaked time and time again how he has no say over transfers nor major decisions in running the squad. Senior players love him as he's stroking their dicks and keeps them happy and satisfied. So yeah, they bear responsibility too. Starting with captain.

He is a retired citizen put behind a wheel of a Ferrari.

You missed the point as per usual. I did not post all the praise Capello had for Valverde, but rather the fact that there's someone who finds this version of Barca more enjoyable than the previous ones (under Pep and Lucho). Which I found funny. Hence the emoticon on the end.

Stumbled upon that interview.

If it was from the usual "Valverde haters" posting this, I would say I miss the point, but from you? naaah!

Just take my compliment and say thank you

I feel the same when people call EV as mou 2.0

Mou while overrated did know how to play boring football but grind out results by being defensive. Ev on the other hand tries to play defensive but not plays boring but fails horribly in defense too.

Read one of Capello's recent interviews. He praised Valverde's style and said that he found Barca rarely boring under him, unlike before.

Lol.

Not so sure it's great when a Barca manager is praised by Simeone and Capello, two italian style defensive managers. It's still good for him to get recognition from some of the best ones who play (or played) the style he does.

I reckon Mourinho likes Valverde's style a lot too.

Great player selection today. If he keeps it up maybe there's a chance we will be in sharp condition to really capture the CL crown again. Players would certainly have no excuse to run and work less than their opponents.

The guy who was sacked from Madrid for playing boring football defending another ultra conservative manager. Who could have seen this coming?

Its ok to smoke weed in moderate doses. Its also okay to be homosexual, there isn't even a reason to mention that, but whats not okay is you making fun of people posts a considerable portion of your time here. And if you make fun of people, you should also accept it the other way around - and not make you out to be some morale apostle and victim.

Yeah i make fun of posts which show extreme bias/deflections/whataboutism/lack of football knowledge. That's my way of exposing their agenda.

What i don't do is resort to ad hominem pathetic juvenile insults like "weed", "gayyyyy" "deranged" etc. like a certain special someone on this forum. If you don't have anything concrete to contribute, might as well just stop posting than bring down quality of the forum

Pretty hard to believe he'll keep thorough rotations up against better opposition but we can pray and hope for that.

I agree. Good line-up and we should've won the game with better finishing, but Boateng was beyond awful. Suarez' position is by far the most exposed. If he gets injured we're fucked.
