You’re right. The team going into the season had no hope of getting anywhere near a treble. Lucho left the team in a bad state and Neymar has departed. Most people thought Madrid would retain the league. The year to follow should have been a disaster but he won the league and cup double. He Roma game was a disaster, but he improved this year. He got past a Man U team comparable to last years Chelsea in a more convincing way, and a Lyon team comparable to last years Roma in a better way too. We will see if he’s ready to do it at the top level in the semi final and possibly final of the CL.

All round a great turnaround in a short time for Barca.

Hopefully but wouldnt be suprised that The usual suspects would credit ev next to nothing even if he wins double+treble in his 2/2 seasons here. He needs something like a 5 la liga winning streak to really be accepted by those 10-15 of fan base %.

I think we are all just annoyed the way we went out in the CL last season, otherwise, it was a nearly perfect season with the roster what we had. (Lost Neymar and made panic buys for Dembele etc.)

Messi and other senior players wanted Unzue as a coach after Lucho. That tells you they don't actually care as long as the manager is a sycophant.
