Do you think I want to keep Valverde?
I want him gone just as badly as the rest of you lot, but not at the expense of the team's results, nor am I okay with replacing him with some random bloke off the street.

Problem right now for me, with the way we are playing.
If we would play bad when we are in a transition phase with young players like de Jong, Puig, Alena & Junior, I would accept our games are not going as we would like. But Valverde doesn’t play any of the young guys (except de Jong), which is even worse. Our old squad sucks big time and we don’t develop the youngsters.
This really is a huge problem, because clearly some of the old guys don’t have IT anymore and our young guys are not ready to take over because they lack playtime.
If Valverde wants to stay, he needs to start the transition, otherwise leave it up to the next manager.

Koeman is coming after the Euros, whether he would be better is unknown, but he coming for sure. There are some options as the caretaker coach like Wenger for example. I can't imagine he would do much worse. Every team is pissing on us this season.

Except.... he's been here for over 2 years now. Luis never had embarrassing results like Valverde has had. We improved under Luis Enrique..... we've totally regressed under Valverde. We're only top of the league and the Champs League because of luck. We should only have 5 points in the Champs League, and we're fortunate every other team in La Liga has been poor.

I'm actually rooting for Celta to beat us on Saturday.
Once Valverde is gone we shouldn't have much trouble winning the league anyway, with RM and ATM in their current state.

Won't even suffer that much. With our rivals in their current state we can easily afford to drop 3 points right now. Small price to pay to get rid of Valverde.

We need him gone before the Dortmund game. Otherwise there's a very real chance we don't make it out of the group.
