Ernesto Valverde

Valverde literally brings nothing positive to the team.

We can throw a traffic cone on the bench and at worst we'd be as bad as we are under Valverde

It will go down as one of the most important philosophical quotes of our time.

On his gravestone..... “It is what it is” - Retardo Valverde

Hopefully this will provide some much needed perspective to the muppets calling Valverde a terrorist. Why would EV help De Jong? Does Frenkie have his nudes?

Valverde is multitudes greater of a human being and football intellectual than any of you cretins will ever be. Players love him, the board loves him, the media loves him. He is on the verge of a winning 3 consecutive Liga titles.

That is historic, but please continue holding your petty grudges against him based on two matches where mentally exhausted, physically drained players bottled it. Still waiting for the evidence Valverde parked the bus in any of those matches or instances where the defensive structure of the team itself caused us to concede. A half fit, out of form Dembele in Rome and a half fit, out of form Arthur in Anfield would have changed nothing.

No surprise either that you lot continue to make excuses for Pep's continual humiliations at Anfield with a better, younger, less jaded squad. "BUT MUH DEFENSE, REFEREES AND BAD LUCK!" Many of those same factors are what cost us, but for some reason Pep's embarrassments get written off using any of a million pathetic excuses under the sun and I am told "Pep did not deserve those results." That has been the excuse for all his failures throughout his career and Valverde on the other hand gets blamed fully for any and everything, even if the bloke had nothing to do with it. And no, I am not suggesting Valverde and Pep are equals, I simply ask for a bit of fecking consistency.

Your wife left you? Blame the terrorist Valverde.
Your dog died? Blame the terrorist Valverde.
You're a failure in life? Blame the terrorist Valverde.

This is beyond fanatical and I urge many of you to seek out professional help before it's too late.

Surely you are aware thay when people say he is a terrorist it's a figure of speech, strictly football related, and they don't actually mean he is a bad person.

You could be a nice guy but also be a terrible fit for certain teams and levels.

See Valverde, Tata Martino as recent examples of this for Barca.

A person too nice and low-profile can never coach senior stars properly. Every great coachh has/had charisma and an iron fist. Valverde doesn't have that.

Why would this provide perspective to anything? Perspective is the thing you don't have, when for example, certain people call Valverde a "Terrorist" and you take it literally.

He looks like a nice guy from what I've seen in the media, but as a Barca coach...

Not sure if he is a good guy, maybe he is just like you said nice but he is a complete leech for sure. Some years back I was working for a Fortune 500 company paying me a good six-figure salary. I quit the job after a year knowing that I didn't fit well in that company. I just felt I didn't deserve that salary. No pressure from the boss and didn't have so many issues but I didn't think my expertise could deliver what they ask for. When I left I didn't have any job lineup for me and had to wait for another 9 months to get another job.

Valverde didn't add any value to the club. He is winning because of Messi and still happy getting paid 23m per annum + bonuses.

Valverde is actually a decent human being who did something for one of his players? Shocking! Go extend the contract ASAP #valverde2030

I don't think many people (if any) here truly hate the guy or think he is a bad person or something.

Wtf does Valverde doing a good deed in an airport have anything to do with how he is as a coach

People on here complain about his coaching abilities, not if he's a nice guy or not. Names like Retardo and terrorist get thrown into posts as tongue in cheek, pretty much standard on any forum.
