this is on the board they should have fired him in the summer
what did they expect? he actually has done better than expected 1st in La Liga and through in the CL the lose to AM means nothing that was essentially an exhibition game

this mid-season thing has a very good chance to be a disaster
Lame Duck Manager who will be gone in 6 months unless... they win La Liga and CL ....

the key now is bringing in a few key transfers Top Notch Striker CB etc but they won't

even firing Valverde was done in a terrible manner

the problem is the people who hired Valverde will hire his repalcement ffs

Seeing as we are (hopefully) close to being done with this thread. I want to give a shout-out to the most delusional Valverde fanboy to have ever graced this forum Xtroverto one last time.

Valverde absolutely destroys Klopp, the german was completely clueless, everyday he convince me more and more of his incredible genius :worthy:

excellent result by our tactical maestro :worthy: Fuck tiki taka and ball hogging whoring, valverde show us what an absolute master tactitian he is completely shutting down the rednoses from the north. That babyface norweigian got completely schooled today

One nil is pure poetry to my ears ;)

while valverde show who is the boss with yet another tactical masterclass, the cruyff tards are hiding in their dark caves beating themselves to a bloody pulp, oh the poetry

another feather in the hat for our tactical genius, he is now the most dominant manager in la liga history over 2 seasons, no other manager in the league history has been even close to valverdes feat of leading the league for 70 out of 76 rounds, that is 92%, guardiola by comparison led the league in 58 of 76 rounds in his best 2 seasons, a measly 76%, even beaten by rijkaard with 60 out of 76 in 2004-05 and 2005-06. The cruyffistas are beating themself to a bloody pulp right now, the one and only diego simeone just overtook their house god in la liga wins with less games played lol. Oh the irony, today is a baad day for a cuyffista, reeeeealy bad.

I think it is time to rename him to mister 90%er, as he has a 96% score in games not lost in the league and a 92% score in games leading the league. This guy is just incredible

Honorable mentions go to : BBZ , The Observer/Ursegor , Tackle and Garrus.

Surprised Joan never came back.

Yeah, he was on that train but I didn't think he was that bad of a poster in some aspects.

Xtroverto's also a compulsive liar. There's no way Simeone recorded more Liga wins than Pep in less games. We put together 90 point plus seasons 3 in a row, 99 in 09/10, 95 in 10/11.

He was never on that train. And definitely would have agreed with most people who thought it was time to move on after Anfield.

Nor were Garrus or Ursegor. They were actually champions of unconditional ousting clube de amigos from the get go.

Is he really gone?? I wouldnt believe a thing with this totally incompetent board until its official :D .. Something which should have happened a couple of years ago happened.... I mean think about it, two 4-0 thumpings didnt convince but a Super Copa 2-3 was convincing for this clueless board...Not that i am complaining but still.. Now if only someone cleans up our squad of all the complacency!!

Lets hope he's gone. Then, a good time to reminisce how hard and creative apologists tried to defend their master for the past years only to slowly swallow this hard pill and say "our squad is not good enough"... to"maybe he's not a good manager.. BUT but we don't have any replacement at the moment" Someone pls start a thread on top excuses for Valverde and remind ourselves of the golden quotes for this historical figure. Fairplay to the cheerleaders for coming up with so many excuses that I would never think of, best of all, while contradicting themselves all the time. I think some of his fanboys never came back here to support Barca no more, to think they accuse fans for being spoilt and a traitor every now and then.

Of course I would back Xavi, I would back any Barca manager to succeed but I honestly don't know how Xavi will turn out. After all he has had very limited experience as a manager and coach.

I hope there is a clause in Setien's contract that allows him to extend beyond 6 months if he does well.

Yep, would love to see Xavi come in the summer and become the B team coach or Setien's assistant, two great Cruyffista minds working side by side. :worthy:
