Another difference, i dont care about the likes of Benitez or Solari, i dont feel anything in particular, just indifference, yet one would think EV plowed your gf/wife by the way it works you up.

I wouldn't be doing it, if guys like you didn't completely lack objectivity on the matter.
EV is an above average coach in my estimation, nothing amazing, but neither is he anywhere near as horrible as you think he is.

I don't lack 'objectivity' in the matter--the very title of this thread (which I did not come up with/apply) is objective proof enough of what we were all well aware of when that idiot Valverde was head coach: that he was a walking, living, breathing calamity, devoid of ideas, totally dependent on Messi, and completely out of his depth at the CL level. For as long as I have been a Barca fan he has without a doubt been the worst coach I have had to suffer through. I would rather an intoxicated mountain goat be manager than EV.

Tata was worse, objectively speaking, so was Setien.

Also, EV was dependent on Messi? Well, maybe he just found a way to maximise Messi, unlike, you know, the Betis-reject and Koeman(so far).

Messi dropped a level in performances the moment EV got sacked, not kidding.

Tata didn't win anything but at least I could watch his team play and enjoy it. EV brought the most insipid, cowardly and boring football I have seen barca play. and no i started following barca in 2009.

Messi's drop could also be linked to disillusionment with the direction of the club, lack of good supporting players, natural decline, all sorts of things. highly doubt EV was making messi tick, lol
