He wasn't good tactically. Had no conception of positional play. Our tactics in the attack were as dire as they could get.

Way of playing cannot be seen separately from tactics, though.
Yeah, he was good tactically at parking the bus, playing a limiting 4-4-2 with Messi and Suarez up front, he was good at that.
But what he was playing was utter shit, and I bet if he still around, he could never play the football of the last month or so, he would still park the bus and try to scrap wins with a Messi goal
