Emery is better simply based on his resume, but they're both similar level managers.

Great for mid-table clubs, bad/average or underwhelming for anything more. But if you feel otherwise maybe Liverpool will hire Ernie once Klopp leaves or is sacked.

If choice of two would have EV at Barca.

Prefer his style of play and Emery is more suited for teams that will play any way to win... on other words.. will defened deep like life depends on it and try to hit on break.

Dont fancy him for a team expected to win and be on front foot week in week out.

We are top of the form table since he took over but got knocked out the FA Cup by Stevenage. It just took a couple months in the Villa job to destroy his cup specialist badge

They are just 2 points behind 4th place and will surely compete for Europe, maybe even CL. Can't expect much more from Basque only players.

Before he took them over the last time they've finished 10th and 12th, then with EV they were 4th!!!, 7th, 5th and 7th and after he left they finished 16th!, 8th, 11th and 10th.

But yeah, EV is a bum because he can't win the league with them.

Valverde has Bilbao playing very well.. but they seem to lack a CF.

A decent CF and they would have hammerd last two opposition.
