Poland-Portugal will be another boring game. The Poles will be disciplined defensively but will offer nothing offensively, and Lewandowski will continue to disappear.

Go Iceland! That is the breath of fresh air this fucking boring tournament needs.

I support Iceland as well, but they hardly play exiting football either, you know.

Croatia actually looked like they could go far in the first 3 games and I started rooting for them. Before the tournament started I thought Poland is a dark horse but they're shit at going forward.

Iceland is a team I respect a lot but I expect the winner to be someone not so interesting - Germany/France/Spain.

Wonder why Croatia showed Portugal so much respect in the vast majority of the game, they didnt show Spain all that much, and Spain should be a better team.

France-England will be another typical boring Euro 2016 game.

Typical Euro 2016? Based on what facts?
Italy-Belgium was so far the only competitive match and it was one that offered something.

How is Iceland of any help to this tournament?

Albania and Croatia showed a lot of passion, only one was mediocre unfortunately and the other shat its pants the moment it played under pressure .

At least they play with a lot of passion. Which other team has displayed that so far? Ireland and Hungary to a certain degree, that's it.

Croatia played with passion against Spain; so much so that a lot of neutrals rooted for them - Atletico effect. You're completely right by the way, other than that the anemic performances just keep on piling up.

Furthermore, I'm still on the fence about today's match: Either we saw a defensive masterpiece from Portugal like Oliver Kahn just claimed on TV, or we saw a boring uninspired crapfest. I'd have to watch it again to reassure myself, but I think I'm just gonna stare at a wall instead.

Knockout stage nerves. Both had them and Croatia actually pulled out of it in the end and got randomly punished. Thing is - if they were going to attack 115+ min than why not do it before? Why stay disciplined if you're going to break it in the end and play right into your opponents hands.

Made some idiotic changes too. And that Strinic dude fucked up so many chances it was unblievable.

Rakitic seemed off and Modric too but ai'm willing to bet it had something to do with Brozovic. They needed someone like Pjaca to occupy the minds of their opponents to have a bit more freedom.

Actually, Oliver Kahn has a good point, it's Fernando Santos after all, this doesn't really excuse Croatia, they need to grow those balls...

Spain game pretty much lacked any pressure, nobody would've played so open as them in the final minutes knowing a goal would've meant out.

This is hard to take. First Madrid winning CL after playing shit teams and again being lucky in final and then this loss vs. Portugal and Cristina after we've been a better team.

1. Čačić was a coward for not making subs on time. Rakitic was finished by 60 minutes. Pjaca comes on and makes 2 great oportunities in 10 minutes.
2. Ref also allowed Portugal everything but can't really put the blame on him.
3. And yeah, luck smiled on Portugal after Croatia almost scored themselves.

I would take it better had we not beaten Spain and if we weren't better than Portugal.
But that's football. We'll be back in 2 years with new hopes and dreams but this opportunity was golden and we squandered open path to Euro Final.

Colossal mistake by Strinić. You don't try to dribble your way at LB when you're being closed down by two opponents.
