Didn't Chelsea fans, read Londoners, go to Paris and racially abuse a French guy very recently?Why do Marseille fans keep attacking the English fans
I know we are the most liked nation but its all getting abit out of hand. The English fans over there are just as bad by retaliating and do stupid things aswell.
I know generalizing stuff based on one or two incidents is not rational but it does happen

It's difficult to tell. They didn't let him on the train, and then later the video cuts to them chanting "we're racist and we like it". They claim they were singing it ironically though because he called them racist. Who knows. My understanding of what happened in Marseille is that England fans were singing about ISIS "ISIS, where are you", some local Muslim kids started goading them, and it ended up with a loads of Muslims youth coming for a scrap. The next day was Marseille ultras and then some Russian fans. It's because England still has a hooligan reputation. The same thing happened in Germany. They all know they can attack England fans because the headlines will be "English fans cause trouble" either way. That said, I'm sure the England supporters were not blameless by any stretch of the imagination!

That's the problem.... If you are carrying a filthy image, here English definitely carry the image of Hooligans, you would definitely be provoked - part of human nature I suppose. Then it would only be clever to actually maintain your cool and stay away from trouble, especially when you are in a whole new country. Having that said, it's easier said than done of course
I hope no body loses life out of this stupidity.... Human life is much more valuable than football or ego
